what is divine speed
Welcome to the voice of victory broadcast, on today’s episode we’re talking about divine speed. The question is “what is divine speed”?
To understand the phrase “divine speed” we have to break down the words and understand their meanings.
The word divine means Godlike or supernatural. We all know what speed means. Therefore divine speed could be described as Godlike or supernatural speed. An unusual speed.
Our text is taken from 1Kings 18:44-46.
Elijah told Ahab specifically to take his chariot and go to the entrance of Jezreel. Chariots in those days is the equivalent of cars today. That was their fastest means of transportation because the it was propelled by several horses.
We see in chapter 46 that the hand of the Lord was upon Elijah and ran before Ahab who was riding on his chariot.
The differentiating factor is the fact that “the hand of the Lord” was upon Elijah and that caused him to operate in an ability that can only be described as divine!
what is the hand of god?
The hand of God can be described as God’s divine intervention, His anointing and power to do extraordinary things.
The hand of the Lord can come upon you in all your endeavors and cause you to operate in what can only be described as divine speed. It can propel you forward and give you divine wisdom and know-how to do things beyond the ordinary.
We also see in Acts 8:39 that after Philip had ministered to and baptizing the Ethiopian Eunuch, Philip was caught away from his presence by the Holy Spirit. Philip literally disappeared from there by the Holy Spirit.
Pray for the power of God to give you divine speed in all your endeavors in Jesus name, Amen.
